Objective: Knowledge transfer is the process of information sharing between researchers, knowledge users and policy makers. Globally, public policies about obesity do not reflect the complexity of what is known about the cause and effects of obesity. We used Concept Maps, a qualitative method that represents mental models, to compare the understanding of obesity between policy makers in a Canadian province and local primary care researchers. Eight participants were interviewed during which a Concept Map was developed using "C-map Tools" software. Maps were then colour-coded to identify themes and concepts in the maps. Finally, the team synthesised the findings from each of the maps and presented them back to each of the participants.
Results: All participants had mental models with rich details on the complexity of obesity for individuals, community, and at the policy level. Clinician-researchers had more focus on medical management than policy makers although most participants lacked concepts on the role of primary care in obesity management. A shared understanding of obesity could assist researchers and policy makers in developing a relevant and effective strategy. Concept Mapping provides a novel and creative way to visually compare different understandings of health-related topics.

Objective: This scoping review aims to identify and map the use of the Fundamentals of Care Framework in nursing education to provide insights into curriculum development that can benefit educators, health care professionals, and policy makers in educational contexts.
Introduction: The Fundamentals of Care Framework offers a comprehensive approach for conceptualizing and delivering high-quality, person-centered fundamental care. Use of the framework in education is shown to enhance critical thinking, establish a shared language for nursing care, and increase understanding of person-centered care.
We summarise key messages from the World Bank Report . A central lesson of the Report is that in decision-making on the path to Universal Health Coverage (UHC), procedural fairness matters alongside substantive fairness. Decision systems should be assessed using a complete conception of procedural fairness that embodies core commitments to impartial and equal consideration of interests and perspectives.

Aquaculture generates substantial amount of residual feeds and faecal matter that accumulate in the culture environment and pollute effluent-receiving water, diminishing its ecological functioning. To devise means of treating nutrient-rich aquaculture wastewater, the efficiency of integrated papyrus-bivalve mesocosms in removing nutrients was evaluated. The mesocosms were fed on water (6600 L) from one brood-stock pond and allowed to settle for 2 weeks.

Medicare Advantage (MA) plans report diagnoses more completely than they are reported in traditional Medicare. As a result, payment to MA plans is greater than it would be if coding patterns were identical in the two sectors. The Medicare Payment Advisory Commission estimates that the overpayment to MA attributable to differential coding was $50 billion in 2024.
