Objectives: The aim of this study was to explore the correlation between blood test indicators and Atrial Fibrillation (AF) in Individuals Aged 65 and Older in Yangzhou, Jiangsu.
Methods: From January 1, 2019, to August 31, 2023, an epidemiological cross-sectional survey was conducted among the elderly population undergoing health check-ups at Northern Jiangsu People's Hospital in Jiangsu Province. Patients diagnosed with AF after a 12-lead electrocardiogram were included in the case group, and non-AF individuals matched by age and gender in a 1:4 frequency ratio were included in the control group.

A growing number of biological and clinical reports indicate the usefulness of herbs in the treatment of complex human diseases, giving an essential supplement for modern medicine. Similar to drugs, the use of experimental validation to identify related diseases of given herbs is both expensive and time-consuming. Atrial fibrillation (AF) is the most common cardiac arrhythmia and pulmonary vein isolation (PVI) by percutaneous transcatheter ablation is its pivotal treatment. Nowadays, several techniques using different energy sources are used, such as radiofrequency (RF), cryoablation and laser ablation. A new technology that combines the strengths of different techniques has been developed, in particular having both the speed of one-shot techniques and the selectivity and precision of point-by-point RF: the RF balloon (RFB).

Background: Back pain is a common but often underestimated symptom of patients with MS that can negatively influence their quality of life. However there are only limited number of studies comparing the effect of different types of exercise and use of telerehabilitation on back pain in MS.
