This series of studies investigated whether the good psychometric properties of the English version of the Big Five Inventory-2 (BFI-2) could be replicated using its Dutch adaptation. Second, it aimed to further examine the predictive validity of both the Big Five domain and the more specific facet scales of the BFI-2 in a large and representative sample. Results indicated that the structure found in the English version was replicated in the Dutch adaptation. The 60-item BFI-2 was reliable at the level of both domains and facets, as were the abbreviated versions. In terms of validity, the domain scales predicted a broad range of criteria. Examination of preregistered hypotheses regarding the discriminant validity of the facets indicated that experts were able to predict which facets would be most strongly associated with specific criteria. Overall, results confirm the strong psychometric properties of the BFI-2 Big Five domain scales and indicate that theoretically identified facets can be more valid predictors of criteria than other facets of the same domain.

Purpose: To develop and assess the psychometric properties of a quality of life (QoL) assessment tool for Chinese patients treated with intravitreal injection (IVI) of anti-vascular endothelial growth factor (anti-VEGF).
Methods: We developed a 31-item IVI-QoL questionnaire using semi- structured patient interviews and expert panel consultation, drawing on a study of the literature. After pretesting on a subset of patients undergoing IVI, the questionnaire was pared down to 23 items.

To decrease the high rates of mental health-related maternal morbidity and mortality among rural-dwelling women, it is critical to identify those experiencing postpartum depression (PPD) and provide necessary follow-up care. To effectively screen for PPD, clinicians must utilize instruments which account for context-specific factors and maintain validity across diverse populations. The Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS) is the most commonly used depression screening tool in perinatal settings, but has not been validated for use within rural American settings.

The International Trauma Interview (ITI) is a clinician-administered assessment that has been newly developed for the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-11) diagnoses of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and complex PTSD (CPTSD). The current study evaluated the psychometric properties of the ITI for treatment-seeking people with adverse childhood experiences (ACE) in South Korea, with the aims of verifying the validity and reliability of ITI as well as examining the differentiation of ICD-11 CPTSD and borderline personality disorder (BPD). In total, data of 103 people were analysed.

Objectives: The aim of the study was to create a Polish adaptation of the Highly Sensitive Person Scale (HSPS), assess its psychometric properties and conduct factor analysis in a group of adults.
Methods: Five hundred two students of the Poznan University of Medical Sciences, aged 19-40 were studied, assessed by the 27-item HSPS, Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) and NEO-FFI Questionnaire. Exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis was performed in two subgroups (N = 250 and N = 252, respectively).
