The International Prognostic Index (IPI) is the most frequently used tool for prognostication in patients with newly diagnosed diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) of all ages. This study validated and compared six models developed for patients above 60 with International Prognostic Indices (IPI, R-IPI, NCCN-IPI). Moreover, we created a clinical nomogram with an online tool for individualized predictions.

Background: Intracranial atherosclerosis (ICAS) is the leading cause of ischemic stroke in Asians and the recurrent rate remains high despite the optimal medical treatment. This study aimed to confirm that follow-up high-resolution magnetic resonance imaging (hrMRI) provided essential values in predicting subsequent cerebral ischemic events in patients with ICAS.
Methods: Patients with moderate to severe stenosis in the middle cerebral artery (MCA) defined by magnetic resonance (MRA) or computed tomography angiography (CTA) were recruited from three centers retrospectively.

: This study aimed to compare the diagnostic accuracy of the Wells and Geneva scores using a 500 ng/mL D-dimer cutoff, as well as the age-adjusted D-dimer (AADD), YEARS, and pulmonary embolism graduated D-dimer (PEGeD) algorithms, in patients with and without COVID-19. Various D-dimer cutoffs were also evaluated. This retrospective study included emergency department patients who underwent computed tomography pulmonary angiography (CTPA) for suspected pulmonary embolism (PE).

Background: Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the most common neurodegenerative dementia, with diagnosis traditionally reliant on clinical criteria. Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) biomarkers like pTau181 and Aβ/Aβ ratio significantly improve diagnostic accuracy but are invasive. Plasma biomarkers measured by automated assays offer a non-invasive alternative.
