Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are very promising host materials for nanoscale guest materials. However, some MOFs such as MIL-53 are known to undergo phase transitions which can complicate the guest particle size control. In this study, Pd nanoparticles embedded in Al-MIL-53 were synthesised via (a) electrodeposition and (b) gas-phase reduction. A thorough structural investigation revealed that each synthesis method most likely favoured a different phase of Al-MIL-53, presenting the possibility of MOF phase selection as a technique for size control of embedded nanoparticles. For the first time, we hereby report the use of pair distribution function analysis to successfully investigate the structure and morphology of guest particles embedded in a MOF host.

Background And Purpose: The purpose of reflection in the learning process is to create meaningful and deep learning. Considering the importance of emphasizing active and student-centered methods in learning and the necessity of learners' participation in the education process, the present study was conducted to investigate the effect of flipped classroom teaching method on the amount of reflection ability in nursing students and the course of professional ethics.
Study Method: The current study is a quasi-experimental study using Solomon's four-group method.

Introduction: Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine uptake in the French Caribbean has remained below 25% since introduction in 2007, which is well behind national and international targets. Using a discrete choice experiment (DCE), we explored parental preferences around HPV vaccination and optimized communication content in a sample of parents of middle-school pupils in Guadeloupe.
Methods: We conducted a cross-sectional survey in public and private middle age schools in Guadeloupe in June 2023 using an online questionnaire.

Objective: To explore the effect of short-acting growth hormone (GH) supplementation on bone age and growth rate of children with idiopathic short stature.
Methods: The authoritative databases such as PubMed, Medline, and Web of Science were extensively searched through the systematic and comprehensive literature retrieval strategy to compile the clinical research data on the treatment of idiopathic short stature with short-acting GH. The study will be strictly screened to ensure that all enrolled research subjects are patients with idiopathic short stature, and the intervention method is defined as short-acting GH replacement therapy, and a reasonable control group is set, such as placebo treatment, to ensure the scientificity and comparability of research results.

A growing body of evidence across psychology suggests that (cognitive) effort exertion increases in proximity to a goal state. For instance, previous work has shown that participants respond more quickly, but not less accurately, when they near a goal-as indicated by a filling progress bar. Yet it remains unclear when over the course of a cognitively demanding task do people monitor progress information: Do they continuously monitor their goal progress over the course of a task, or attend more frequently to it as they near their goal? To answer this question, we used eye-tracking to examine trial-by-trial changes in progress monitoring as participants completed blocks of an attentionally demanding oddball task.

Purpose: Study aimed to compare incidence of urinary tract infection (UTI), type of bacteria grown, development of antibiotic resistance over 2 years in children whose caregivers underwent training based on the Roy Adaptation Model with an android phone application for patients clean intermittent catheterization (RAMACIC) versus those whose caregivers received routine training in hospital.
Method: This study was conducted as a descriptive, prospective study with 40 patients and caregivers between October 2021 and 2023 as a continuation of a previously conducted randomized controlled experimental study by the researchers. Data were collected the "Participant Form," and "Urine Test Form" analyzed with the SPSS 22 package.
