Purpose: The aim of this study was to estimate how ultrasonographic evaluation of endometrium and histopathological findings are correlated in a group of premenopausal and postmenopausal women.

Material And Methods: I have studied 106 premenopausal and postmenopausal women who underwent endometrial biopsy based on results of transvaginal ultrasonography.

Results: Mean age of patients was 52.29±8.14 years. Postmenopausal status <10 years was common in 20 patients (18.86%), postmenopausal status >10 years was common in 21 patients (19.81%), and premenopausal status in 65 patients (61.32%). Transvaginal sonography reported EH in 97 cases (91.50%) and EH was confirmed by pathology in 88 cases (83.01%).

Conclusion: Endometrial thickness was correlated with histopathological diagnosis much better in postmenopausal women.

Ultrasonographic assessment of the diameters of various veins and their indices are among the most applied diagnostic tools for evaluating fluid responsiveness in clinical practice. Despite their widespread use, there is no definitive answer on which is preferable. Our study aimed to investigate the diagnostic accuracy of different venous diameters and their indices to assess fluid responsiveness.

: The aim of this study is to assess the inter- and intra-observer reproducibility of the identification of direct and indirect ultrasonographic features of adenomyosis as defined by the revised Morphological Uterus Sonographic Assessment (MUSA) consensus (2022). : A cohort of 74 women, aged 18 to 45, were recruited from the recurrent miscarriage and general gynaecology clinic at a university-based fertility centre. All the participants underwent 2D and 3D transvaginal Ultrasound scan (TVS) examination in the late follicular and early luteal phase.

Urinary tract injuries represent a significant clinical challenge, necessitating precise diagnosis and effective treatment strategies. Rat models are preferred for studying urinary tract injuries due to their size, visibility of external genitalia, and robust reproductive and growth capabilities. However, there is a lack of standardized methodologies for evaluating the endpoints of rat urinary tract injury models.

Background: Serum levels of silent information regulator 6 (SIRT6), a key biomarker of aging, were identified as a predictor of coronary artery disease (CAD), but whether SIRT6 can distinguish severity of coronary artery lesions in older adult patients is unknown.

Objectives: This study developed a nomogram to demonstrate the functionality of SIRT6 in assessing severity of coronary artery atherosclerosis.

Methods: Patients aged 60 years and older with angina pectoris were screened for this single-center clinical study between October 1, 2022, and March 31, 2023.

Introduction: Ultrasound imaging (US) is the method of choice to assess the canine prostate gland. Whilst recent studies have documented the role of castration in the development of prostatic neoplasia, little is known about parenchymal and perfusion features of the normal and abnormal prostate in neutered dogs. No data are available concerning prostatic changes after the first 90 days following castration.
