Therapeutic education contributes to improving the health of patients suffering from chronic diseases, their quality of life and that of their loved ones. It is complementary and inseparable from treatment and care, symptom relief and prevention of complications. Inspired by the modalities of this approach towards children suffering from cystic fibrosis, students from a nursing training institute in Ile-de-France share their work on this theme.

We conducted a cross-sectional study in several hospitals in China, mainly in hospitals in Zhejiang Province, during August 1, 2024 - August 15, 2024 using a self-administered KAP questionnaire. Wilcoxon-Mann-Whitney tests and Kruskal-Wallis analysis of variance were performed to compare differences across groups Factors influencing practice were determined through multivariable logistic regression.

Chinese herbal medicine (CHM) has offered a great treasure and source of inspiration for developing innovative medicinal materials and therapy. In this work, inspired by the macroscopic compatibility of and in CHM, the puerarin (PUE) and CaSO (Ca) as the main constituents, respectively, from the two herbs are co-assembled into two-component molecular hydrogels. Such two-component gels exhibited enhanced mechanical properties compared with the single-component PUE gel due to the introduction of crosslinking hydrogen bonds between PUE and Ca.

Language comprehension is an essential component of human development that is associated not only with expressive language development and knowledge acquisition, but also with social inclusion, mental health, and quality of life. For deaf and hard-of-hearing adults with intellectual disability, there is a paucity of measures of receptive sign language skills, although these are a prerequisite for individualized planning and evaluation of intervention. Assessments require materials and procedures that are accurate, feasible, and suitable for low levels of functioning.
