Digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) is a new modality that assists in detection of breast cancer. However, benign masses are also detected more easily by DBT and may require further workup. This article reviews typical imaging features of non-calcified benign masses on DBT. We also discuss the management of these benign masses. Knowledge of the imaging features of benign masses on DBT is required to minimize unnecessary callbacks.

Introduction: Acoustic shadowing is an important benign ultrasound (US) feature for adnexal masses (AMs). To validate the diagnostic performance and interobserver agreement of the 2019 version and 2022 version of Ovarian-Adnexal Reporting and Data System Ultrasound (O-RADS US) and ascertain whether adding acoustic shadowing to O-RADS US v2019 as a benign ultrasound feature can enhance its diagnostic efficacy among junior radiologist.
Methods: This retrospective study included consecutive women with suspected adnexal masses who underwent ultrasound examinations between September 2022 and January 2024.

A cystic lateral neck mass in adults represents a major challenge, as it can be difficult to distinguish between benign and malignant lesions. The incidence of carcinoma in initially benign treated neck cysts is estimated to be as high as 24%. The objective of this study was to ascertain the malignancy rate of cystic cervical masses and to provide a differentiation of cervical metastases in comparison to benign cervical cysts, utilising current guidelines.
