Some aspects of the effect of LH-RH on behavior reactions and CNS activity were investigated. LH-RH was shown to produce a positive effect on teaching processes in animals, to possess analgesic and antispasmodic activity, and to activate the central nervous system. The adaptogenic properties of LH-RH necessitated a study of its potential to stop dysadaptation.

The virulence of encapsulated fungal conidia against Aedes aegypti larvae was investigated. Molecular studies confirmed that the fungal isolate used here was Beauveria bassiana. Different conidial concentrations were tested.

The three-dimensional simulation model of buried natural gas pipeline leakage was established using Fluent software. Monitoring points of gas leakage mole fraction were set up at different locations, and the influence of buried depth and pressure factors on the mole fraction and diffusion of leaked gas was analyzed.

The European pond turtle (Emys orbicularis) is a wide-ranging, long-living freshwater species with low reproductive success, mainly due to high predation pressure. We studied how habitat variables and predator communities in near-natural marshes affect the survival of turtle eggs and hatchlings. We followed the survival of artificial turtle nests placed in marshes along Lake Balaton (Hungary) in May and June as well as hatchlings (dummies) exposed in September.

This study investigates the ablation performance of Inconel 718, a nickel-based superalloy, and metal matrix polycrystalline diamond (MMPCD), a super composite, using a nano-second (ns) pulsed laser across a range of ablation conditions. Single trenches varying in energy fluence and scanning speeds were created, analyzing the experimental responses in terms of ablation rate and surface roughness. Using regression techniques, models were developed to understand these relationships.

Acoustic emission information can describe the damage degree of rock samples in the process of failure. However, as a discrete non-stationary signal, acoustic emission information is difficult to be effectively processed by conventional methods, while wavelet analysis is an effective method for non-stationary signal processing. Therefore, acoustic emission signal is deeply studied by using wavelet analysis method.
