Published: December 2018

This data article contains data, related to fungal diseases of Mango ginger ( Roxb.), that were collected at Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta. Pictures described leaf spot, leaf blight and rhizome rot diseases, and associated fungi and fungus-like organisms were listed. Data of plant height and disease incidence, against plant age was described with graphs. Further, data of disease severity for planting years of 2016 and 2017 were compared and percentage commercial loss of rhizome rot for the planting years calculated https://doi.org/10.1016/j.cpb.2018.10.001 (Ayodele et al., 2018).

Sulfur metabolism is an essential aspect of fungal physiology and pathogenicity. Fungal sulfur metabolism comprises anabolic and catabolic routes that are not well conserved in mammals, therefore is considered a promising source of prospective novel antifungal targets. To gain insight into sulfur-related metabolism during infection, we used a NanoString custom nCounter-TagSet and compared the expression of 68 key metabolic genes in different murine models of invasive pulmonary aspergillosis, at 3 time-points, and under a variety of conditions.

Clotrimazole 1% and Mycozin vaginal cream have been reported to be effective in relieving the symptoms of vulvovaginitis caused by Candida. The resistance to azole compounds, and the side effects of chemical drugs have been reported following azole therapy. It was hypothesized that Mycozin is at least as effective as Clotrimazole in treating vaginal candidiasis.

Background And Purpose: Granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA) and eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (EGPA) are the most common causes of chronic sinusitis from systemic granulomatous diseases. While both are small- to medium-sized vasculitis with necrotizing granulomas, they have different clinical courses and prognoses. High-density sinus opacification has been reported in allergic fungal sinusitis with eosinophilic infiltrates.
