Background: Primary gastric adenocarcinoma commonly occurs in the elderly in the sixth to seventh decade of life but is exceedingly rare in children and adolescents, accounting for only 0.05% of pediatric gastrointestinal malignancies. Because of the nonspecific clinical presentation, gastric adenocarcinomas in children and adolescents are often metastatic when they are discovered.
Case Report: We describe a case of gastric adenocarcinoma in a 16-year-old female who was diagnosed early and successfully treated with surgery and chemoradiation by volumetric modulated arc technique.
Conclusion: The possibility of gastric adenocarcinoma should be considered in children and adolescents with persistent nonspecific symptoms of vomiting and upper abdominal pain so that the diagnosis can be made at early stages and radical treatment can be offered.

Trousseau's syndrome is a thromboembolic disorder associated with malignancies, with cerebral infarction and hemorrhage representing common central nervous system complications in patients with cancer. This report details the diagnosis and treatment of a patient with gastric adenocarcinoma at our institution who concurrently developed cerebral infarction and subarachnoid hemorrhage. We performed a comprehensive literature review in the Wanfang and PubMed databases, searching for relevant studies on Trousseau's syndrome, cerebral embolism, and subarachnoid hemorrhage.

Oxyntic gland neoplasms typically arise in Helicobacter pylori-naïve stomachs and are composed predominantly of chief cells, with a smaller component of parietal cells. The pathologic diagnosis can be challenging due to minimal cellular atypia. Especially in biopsy specimens with limited tumor volume or when pathologists have limited experience in diagnosing this neoplasm, distinguishing it from normal oxyntic glands can be difficult, and no reliable diagnostic markers are currently available.

Objectives: To develop a nomogram based on the radiomics features of tumour and perigastric adipose tissue adjacent to the tumor in dual-layer spectral detector computed tomography (DLCT) for lymph node metastasis (LNM) prediction in gastric cancer (GC).
Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 175 patients with gastric adenocarcinoma. They were divided into training cohort (n = 125) and validation cohort (n = 50).

: is the leading cause of chronic gastritis, peptic ulcer, gastric adenocarcinoma, and mucosal-associated lymphoma. Due to the emerging problems with antibiotic treatment against in clinical practice, vaccination has gained more interest. Oral immunization is considered a promising approach for preventing initial colonization of this bacterium in the gastrointestinal tract, establishing a first line of defense at gastric mucosal surfaces.
