Introduction: We present a novel approach to single-incision laparoscopy-assisted gastric transposition combined with thoracoscopic esophagectomy in a child with long-segment corrosive esophageal stricture (CES).
Materials And Surgical Technique: A 2.5-year-old boy with a history of caustic ingestion underwent periodic esophageal dilatations at 3-week intervals, four sessions of topical mitomycin C application, and a strict antacid/H antagonist therapy for 8 months. The esophageal replacement was indicated because of persistent corrosive esophageal stricture. First, thoracoscopic native esophagus dissection was performed. After gastric mobilization with single-incision laparoscopy, esophagectomy and esophagogastric anastomosis were performed through the cervical incision. There was no complication, and the patient had gained weight by the end of the 12-month follow-up.
Discussion: Single-incision laparoscopy-assisted gastric transposition combined with thoracoscopic esophagectomy is feasible, safe, and effective in patients with corrosive esophageal stricture.

Background: Transumbilical laparoscopy-assisted Malone procedure (TULAM) is a single-incision laparoscopic procedure in which the appendicostomy is made at umbilicus. The aim of this study is to evaluate the outcomes of TULAM.
Methods: With IRB approval, the medical records of the patients who underwent TULAM were retrospectively reviewed between July 2013 and December 2018.

Background: We compared short-term perioperative outcomes after single-incision plus one-port laparoscopic gastrectomy (SILG+1) and conventional multi-port laparoscopy-assisted gastrectomy (C-LAG) for gastric cancer.
Methods: The work was conducted between August 2017 and October 2019. A total of 90 patients with early or advanced gastric cancer were retrospectively analyzed: 43 patients of which underwent SILG+1, and 47 of which underwent C-LAG, respectively.

Laparoscopic endoscopic cooperative surgery (LECS) refers to the endoscopic dissection of the mucosal or submucosal layers with laparoscopic seromuscular resection. We recommend a treatment algorithm for the LECS procedure for gastric benign tumors according to the protruding type. In the exophytic type, endoscopic-assisted wedge resection can be performed.

Purpose: This retrospective study compared the long-term outcomes of single-incision laparoscopy-assisted Soave procedure (SILSP) with single-incision laparoscopy-assisted heart-shaped anastomosis (SILHSA) in patients with Hirschsprung disease (HSCR).
Methods: Patients diagnosed with HSCR that underwent SILSP or SILHSA between January 2009 and January 2015 at our institute were enrolled in this retrospective study. Data on the clinical characteristics, perioperative complications, and postoperative quality of life were retrospectively collected and analyzed.
