The accumulated knowledge regarding molecular architectures is based on established, reliable, and accessible analytical tools that provide robust structural and functional information on assemblies. However, both the dynamicity and low population of noncovalently interacting moieties within studied molecular systems limit the efficiency and accuracy of traditional methods. Herein, the use of a saturation transfer-based NMR approach to study the dynamic binding characteristics of an anion to a series of synthetic receptors derived from bambusuril macrocycles is demonstrated. The exchange rates of BF are mediated by the side chains on the receptor (100 s

Plants will form the basis of artificial ecosystems in space exploration and the creation of bases on other planets. Astrophysical factors, such as ionizing radiation (IR), magnetic fields (MF) and gravity, can significantly affect the growth and development of plants beyond Earth. However, to date, the ways in which these factors influence plants remain largely unexplored.

This narrative review explores the benefits and risks of cannabinoids in kidney health, particularly in individuals with pre-existing renal conditions. It discusses the roles of cannabinoid receptor ligands (phytocannabinoids, synthetic cannabinoids, and endocannabinoids) in kidney physiology. The metabolism and excretion of these substances are also highlighted, with partial elimination occurring via the kidneys.

An impact of legalization and decriminalization of marijuana is the gradual increase in the use of cannabis for recreational purposes, which poses a potential threat to society and healthcare systems worldwide. However, the discovery of receptor subtypes, endogenous endocannabinoids, and enzymes involved in synthesis and degradation, as well as pharmacological characterization of receptors, has led to exploration of the use of cannabis in multiple peripheral and central pathological conditions. The role of cannabis in the modulation of crucial events involving perturbed physiological functions and disease progression, including apoptosis, inflammation, oxidative stress, perturbed mitochondrial function, and the impaired immune system, indicates medicinal values.

Background: Chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-T cell therapy has emerged as a transformative modality in the treatment of patients with cancer. However, it is increasingly evident that this therapeutic approach is not without its challenges. The unique nature of CAR-T cells as living drugs introduces a distinct set of side effects.

Low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) face a significant burden of cancer prevalence and incidence. However, the survival rates for patients with cancer in these regions are notably lower than those in high-income countries, primarily due to late diagnosis and limited access to advanced treatments. Chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy has demonstrated promising outcomes in certain terminally ill patients with cancer, yet access to this treatment remains limited in LMICs, including Nepal.
