This study evaluated the potential efficacy of eco-friendly biofabricated zinc oxide nanoparticles (GS-ZnONP) (10 mg/kg b.wt) to reduce the impacts of long-term oral acrylamide (ALD) exposure (20 mg/kg b.wt) on the blood cells, immune components, splenic oxidative status, and expression of CD20, CD3, CD4, CD8, TNF-α, caspase-3, microRNA-181a-5p, and microRNA-125-5p in rats in a 60-day experiment.

Acrylamide (ARL) exposure induces significant toxicity to the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal (HPG) axis, leading to detrimental effects on behavior, neuroendocrine functions, steroidogensis, oxidative stress, inflammation, hormonal balance, sperm quality, and histopathological integrity in rats. This study investigates the protective role of oral apigenin (API; 10 or 20 mg/kg/day for 28 days) against ARL-induced toxicity in the HPG axis of male Wistar rats. Behavioral assessments revealed that ARL exposure impaired motor coordination and balance, as evidenced by increased landing foot splay distance and gait score.

This study explores the temperature-dependent dynamic yield stress of a triblock thermoresponsive polymer, Pluronic F127, with chemical structure (PEO)(PPO)(PEO), during the sol-gel transition. The yield stress can be defined as static, dynamic, or elastic, depending on the experimental protocol. We examine the dynamic yield stress estimation for this study, which usually entails utilizing non-Newtonian models like the Herschel-Bulkley (HB) or Bingham models to extrapolate the flow curve (shear rate against shear stress).

Third-generation tyrosine kinase inhibitors are the first-line gold standard in treating advanced non-small-cell lung cancer bearing common mutations, but data documenting clinical efficacy in uncommon mutations are currently limited. In this paper, we describe the case of a patient bearing uncommon compound mutations in exon 20, who experienced a near-complete response to third-line Osimertinib, with metabolic complete response of pulmonary, nodal and ostheolytic lesions. This radiological assessment corresponded to an ECOG PS improvement (from three to one) and a substantial clinical benefit for the patients.
