Background: The present research work was done to evaluate the anatomical differences among selected species of the family Bignoniaceae, as limited anatomical data is available for this family in Pakistan. Myoelectric prosthetic hands are typically controlled to move between discrete positions and do not provide sensory feedback to the user. In this work, we present and evaluate a closed-loop, continuous myoelectric prosthetic hand controller, that can continuously control the position of multiple degrees of freedom of a prosthesis while rendering proprioceptive feedback to the user via a haptic feedback armband. Twenty-eight participants without and ten participants with upper limb difference (ULD) were recruited to holistically evaluate the physical and psychological effects of the controller via isolated control and sensory tasks, dexterity assessments, embodiment and task load questionnaires, and post-study interviews.

A 78-years-old man was treated for asthma and pansinusitis for >5 years, and mepolizumab was initiated two years previously. Two months after the cessation of mepolizumab treatment, the asthma symptoms worsened and acute progressive muscle weakness and sensory disturbance developed. On day 8 after the onset of weakness and hypoesthesia, the patient presented with complete flaccid tetraplegia and diffuse hypoesthesia of all extremities, without paresthesia or pain, and was admitted to our hospital.

Objectives: To assess the feasibility of capturing older care home residents' quality of life (QoL) in digital social care records and the construct validity (hypothesis testing) and internal consistency (Cronbach's alpha) of four QoL measures.
Design: Cross-sectional data collected in wave 1 of the DACHA (eveloping resources nd minimum dataset for are omes' doption) study, a mixed-methods pilot of a prototype minimum dataset (MDS).
Setting: Care homes (with or without nursing) registered to provide care for older adults (>65 years) and/or those living with dementia.
