Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has been associated with a significant fatality rate and persistent evolution in immunocompromised patients. In this prospective study, we aimed to determine the duration of excretion of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) in 37 Tunisian patients with hematological malignancies (40.5% with lymphoma and 37.

Background/objectives: MDG1011 is an autologous TCR-T therapy developed as a treatment option for patients with myeloid malignancies, including acute myeloid leukemia (AML), myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), and multiple myeloma (MM). It is specific for the target antigen PReferentially expressed Antigen in MElanoma (PRAME). The recombinant TCR used in MDG1011 recognizes PRAME VLD-peptide presented by HLA-A*02:01-encoded surface molecules.

: Recent advances in childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and lymphoblastic lymphoma (LL) management provide higher survival rates at the cost of increased toxicities. Acute neurotoxicity affects up to 10% of patients, requiring rapid recognition and treatment. : A retrospective observational study was performed to determine the frequency, clinical manifestations, radiological characteristics, treatment options and outcome of acute neurological adverse events in pediatric patients with lymphoid malignancies at the Department of Oncology and Hematology, Children's Hospital Zagreb, Croatia.

Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) T-cell therapies represents a major advancement in the treatment of refractory hematologic malignancies, with high remission rates for relapsed B-cell lymphomas and leukemias. However, it is associated with a broad spectrum of potentially life-threatening toxicities, many of which require intensive care unit (ICU) management. Key complications include Cytokine Release Syndrome (CRS) and Immune Effector Cell-associated Neurotoxicity Syndrome (ICANS), as well as severe infections, Immune Effector Cell-associated Hematotoxicity (ICAHT), coagulopathies, and organ dysfunctions resulting from the intense inflammatory response induced by CAR T-cells.

Neutropenia in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a problem that often needs to be addressed. Side effects of basic antirheumatic treatment, infections or substrate deficiencies are common causes; however, T‑cell large granular lymphocytic (T-LGL) leukemia, a mature T‑cell neoplasm, can also lead to autoimmune cytopenia. The T‑LGL leukemia can be associated not only with RA but also with other autoimmune diseases or neoplasms.
