Trametinib, a mitogen-activated extracellular signal-regulated kinase (MEK) inhibitor, has demonstrated great promise in treating metastatic melanoma associated with BRAF V600E and V600K mutations; however, it also is highly associated with cutaneous adverse events (AEs). As both BRAF and MEK inhibitors become increasingly used to treat malignant melanoma, it is important to better characterize these AEs so that we can manage them. Herein, we present a case of a 66-year-old man who developed erythematous scaly papules on the face and bilateral upper extremities after beginning therapy with trametinib. The severity of the reaction worsened on trametinib monotherapy compared to combination therapy with a BRAF inhibitor. Biopsy revealed a xanthogranulomatous reaction.

Background: Topical vitamin E is commonly used for its antioxidant properties in a rapidly expanding anti-aging market. Cutaneous reaction to vitamin E is rare and can present a difficult diagnosis.
Methods: We report a unique case of a 46-year-old female who developed a severe cutaneous inflammatory chin lesion after topical use of vitamin E oil with a micro-spike roller.

The radiologic diagnosis of biliary disease can be challenging due to atypical or delayed presentation, rare or less common entities, and imaging overlap of benign and malignant processes. Establishing a specific diagnosis, when possible, is important to avoid progression of infections to sepsis and multiorgan failure, and for appropriate staging and management in cases of malignancy. Gallstones are the most common biliary disease, and along with stone-related complications, including cholecystitis and choledocholithiasis, constitute the majority of acute biliary pathology.

Introduction: Xanthogranulomatous pyelonephritis (XGP) is a rare illness that consists of a destructive chronic inflammatory process of the renal parenchyma associated with recurrent infection and obstructions of the urinary tract. Peritoneal dialysis (PD) is a form of renal replacement therapy used in advanced kidney disease. PD patients demonstrate a systemic inflammatory state, secondary to the increase in uremic toxins, decreased filtration of proinflammatory cytokines, as well as constant exposure to bioincompatible dialysis solutions or a foreign body reaction from the catheter, among other factors, as peritoneal infections.

Introduction: Xanthogranulomatous pancreatitis (XGP) is a rare, benign, and idiopathic disease that often presents with non-specific symptoms and can mimic or coexist with other pancreatic diseases. Despite its infrequency, XGP is frequently misdiagnosed as a pancreatic neoplasm, with only 15 reported cases in the literature. The pathogenesis of XGP remains unclear.
