Objective: To describe the presentation, outcomes, and management strategies for cases of subcapsular liver hematoma associated with preeclampsia, eclampsia, or HELLP (hemolysis, elevated liver enzymes, and low platelet count) syndrome.
Methods: This was a case series of individuals with subcapsular liver hematoma managed at a single level IV center over a 10-year period, from 2013 to 2024. Presenting signs and symptoms, laboratory findings, time of onset, management strategies, acute perinatal and maternal outcomes, and long-term outcomes such as subsequent pregnancies were reviewed in the medical record and recorded.

The surgical procedure detailed in this case report focuses on the treatment of a large cardiac hydatid cyst located in the intraventricular septum. The surgical intervention comprised a comprehensive approach involving a median sternotomy and cardiopulmonary bypass. A localized mass below the tricuspid valve at the basal region of the interventricular septum was revealed.

Background: [F]MK-6240 was developed for PET imaging of AD tau pathology, but the exact molecular signature of specific binding remains unclear. This study quantified levels of four phospho-tau forms and total tau in postmortem brain tissues from [F]MK-6240 imaged cases to investigate associations with antemortem [F]MK-6240 PET.
Methods: This study included four participants from the Wisconsin ADRC or WRAP with antemortem [F]MK-6240 and [C]PiB PET imaging and postmortem brain tissue obtained on average 32-months after imaging (Table 1).
