Introduction: The reverse sural flap (RSF) is a random-type, pedicled flap based on sural artery perforators indicated for traumatic lower-extremity wounds. The RSF has demonstrated comparable results to free flap placement in the adult population for reconstruction of distal third defects, but few reports describe its application and outcomes in the pediatric population.
Methods: We investigated RSF application in pediatric patients (<18 years of age) through systematic review and meta-analysis.
Truth-telling for terminally ill patients is a challenging ethical and social issue for Chinese health care professionals. However, despite the existence of ethical and moral standards for nurses, they frequently encounter moral dilemmas when making decisions about truth-telling to patients with end-stage diseases in China. This article aims to provide ethical strategies for clinical nurses in China regarding truth-telling decisions for terminally ill patients on the basis of their individual autonomy.

COVID-19 caused a public health emergency, which instituted a global effort to develop vaccines using different platforms, such as basic types and new-generation vaccines. Considering the importance of vaccination in preventing the severity of infectious diseases and the success in developing and approving vaccines against COVID-19 in record time, it is essential to learn about the characteristics of these vaccines. This study aimed to conduct a structured, systematic review following the PRISMA guideline, to analyze the general characteristics of vaccines approved globally for use against COVID-19.

With Medicare enrollment reaching over 65 million beneficiaries in 2023, and Alzheimer's becoming one of the most expensive conditions - CMS policy makers have a growing responsibility to improve care quality at end-of-life.
Method: The federal government will be called upon to assist providers in navigating documents and legal variations of approved forms of directives among the different states, and in ensuring privacy standards that keep an individual's health data secure.
