Haematuria is a known complication of prostatic malignancy and in severe cases can be unresponsive to bladder irrigation and endoscopic interventions. This report describes selective angiographic embolization as a means of haemorrhage control in adenocarcinoma of the prostate. A patient with locally advanced prostatic adenocarcinoma and prior history of prostate brachytherapy, androgen deprivation therapy and chemotherapy presented with persistent haematuria that did not respond to endourological intervention. He was successfully treated with selective embolization of the vesical and prostatic vessels under fluoroscopic guidance. Angiographic embolization represents a safe and effective means of achieving haemostasis in patients not fit for surgerywho would otherwise be resigned to terminal care treatment.

Prostate cancer is the most common noncutaneous malignancy among men worldwide, including in Sudan, where it represents a significant public health challenge. CD147, a transmembrane glycoprotein implicated in tumor progression, invasion, and metastasis, has shown potential as a prognostic biomarker in various cancers. This retrospective case-control study aimed to evaluate CD147 expression in prostate adenocarcinoma among Sudanese men and its association with tumor grade.

Background: Lambert-Eaton myasthenic syndrome (LEMS) is an autoimmune disorder of the presynaptic neuromuscular junction associated with antibody mediated dysfunction of voltage-gated calcium channels (VGCCs). LEMS can exist as a paraneoplastic syndrome, paraneoplastic-LEMS (P-LEMS), when associated with tumors, most commonly, small cell lung carcinoma (SCLC) or as a non-paraneoplastic condition (NP-LEMS) when no malignancies are detected.
Methods: A retrospective chart review was conducted in 3 tertiary hospitals in Saudi Arabia for patients diagnosed with LEMS between January 2010 and January 2020.

Castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC) presents significant therapeutic challenges due to its aggressive nature and poor prognosis. Targeting Aurora-A kinase (AURKA) has shown promise in cancer treatment. This study investigates the efficacy of ART-T cell membrane-encapsulated AMS@AD (CM-AMS@AD) nanoparticles (NPs) in a photothermal-chemotherapy-immunotherapy combination for CRPC.
