Published: November 2018

Implant deviation at platform and apex was comparable to that seen in similar studies, showing that Mucosa Supported Guided Dental Implant Surgery can be a safe implant placement technique. Introduction: To date, no investigations have been published regarding the concentration, dose, and technique for a mucosal spray application of botulinum toxin A (BTA) to alleviate hypersecretory symptoms of rhinitis in humans. It is a promising option for reducing common symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis (AR) and idiopathic non-AR. It is safer and less painful than intranasal injections, with high reported satisfaction in reducing clinical symptoms.

The gagging reflex during dental treatment is a common concern for dentists and patients. Herein, we describe a novel approach to managing severe gagging reflex, termed the "KOJIMA program," using a systematic desensitization technique combined with an ultrasound-guided selective glossopharyngeal nerve block (UGSGNB). After performing the UGSGNB, the participants were trained to touch the inside of their mouths with a cotton swab.

Single-cell RNA-sequencing (scRNA-seq) is a powerful method to comprehensively overlook gene expression profiles of individual cells in various tissues, providing fundamental datasets for classification of cell types and further functional analyses. Here we adopted scRNA-seq analysis for the zebrafish olfactory sensory neurons which respond to water-borne odorants and pheromones to elicit various behaviors crucial for survival and species preservation. Firstly, a single-cell dissociation procedure of the zebrafish olfactory rosettes was optimized by using cold-active protease, minimizing artifactual neuronal activation.
