Among the myriad of complications associated with traumatic brain injury (TBI), impairments in social behaviors and cognition have emerged as a significant area of concern. Animal models of social behavior are necessary to explore the underlying brain mechanisms contributing to chronic social impairments following brain injury. Here, we utilize large-scale brain recordings of local field potentials to identify neural signatures linked with social preference deficits following frontal brain injury.

Traumatic hip dislocations are serious traumas, the result of high-energy mechanisms, constituting one of the orthopedic emergencies. The epidemiology of asymmetric bilateral hip dislocation is an extremely rare orthopedic condition. Prompt diagnosis and urgent reduction are essential due to the high risk of future complications.

Objective: to conduct a clinical and neurophysiological study of Chornobyl clean-up workers and military personnelof the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) with previous coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and individuals of the comparison groups to study the impact of long-term effects of ionizing radiation, psychoemotional stress and previouscoronavirus infection on cerebral functioning.
Materials And Methods: A prospective clinical study of Chornobyl clean-up workers and servicemen of the ArmedForces of Ukraine (AFU) who had coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and individuals of the comparison groups. Themain group - 30 males participated in liquidating the consequences of the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant (ChNPP)accident with previously verified COVID-19 (Chornobyl clean-up workers).

Prepatellar bursitis is a common cause of anterior knee pain. We present an unusual case of massive bilateral traumatic haemorrhagic prepatellar bursitis managed with surgical excision and describe our operative findings. The patient presented with large bilateral knee swellings which had been present for six years following a fall onto both knees.
