Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) rhinorrhea is a rare condition characterized by the leakage of CSF through the nose. The diagnosis is established through comprehensive history taking, brain imaging, and nasal endoscopy. Surgical intervention is considered a secondary option for CSF leakage when conservative treatments, including behavioral therapy, pharmacotherapy, or lumbar puncture, fail to elicit a response.

Pneumocephalus is a rare but potentially serious complication of spinal procedures, characterized by the presence of intracranial air. This report presents the case of a 40-year-old female who developed pneumocephalus following a lumbar epidural steroid injection. She presented to the emergency department with a persistent headache, blurred vision, and eye pain, which began shortly after the procedure.

While there are a number of known complications associated with it, pneumocephalus (air in the brain) is generally not a recognized complication postoperatively. However, in rare cases, it can occur as a result of spinal decompression surgery.

Methods: From June 2020 to March 2024, a surgical team performed 490 EETPS procedures on 458 pituitary adenoma patients.
