Reversible image watermarking guaranties restoration of both original cover and watermark logo from the watermarked image. Capacity and distortion of the image under reversible watermarking are two important parameters. In this study, a reversible watermarking is investigated by focusing on increasing the embedding capacity and reducing the distortion in medical images. We use integer wavelet transform for embedding one bit of watermark in a transform coefficient. We devise a novel approach that when a coefficient is modified in one iteration, the produced distortion is compensated in the next iteration. This distortion compensation method would result in low distortion rate. The proposed method is tested on four types of medical images including MRI of the brain, cardiac MRI, MRI of breast and intestinal polyp images. The maximum capacity of 1.5 BPP is obtained by using a one-level wavelet transform. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method is superior to the stateof-the-art works in terms of capacity and distortion.

Osteoarthritis (OA) is a common degenerative bone and joint disease with an unclear pathogenesis. Our study identified that the histone acetyltransferase encoded by Kat7 is upregulated in the affected articular cartilage of OA patients and in a mice model of medial meniscal instability-induced OA. Chondrocyte-specific knockdown of Kat7 expression exhibited a protective effect on articular cartilage integrity.

Purpose: To determine whether there is a difference in apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) and fractional anisotropy (FA) values in white matter pathways in the subacute period after COVID-19 infection and to evaluate the correlation between diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) metrics and laboratory findings.
Material And Methods: The study included 64 healthy controls and 91 patients. Patients were classified as group 1 (all patients, n = 91), group 2 (outpatients, n = 58), or group 3 (inpatients, n = 33).

Lithium metal batteries are considered the holy grail for next-generation high-energy systems. However, lithium anode faces poor reversibility, unsatisfying cyclability and rate capability due to its uncontrollable plating/stripping behavior. While galvanostatic conditions are extensively studied, the behavior under more realistic application scenarios with variable inputs are less explored.

Background: Cerebral infarction is one of the most common diseases. Diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) has been used to evaluate for crossed cerebellar diaschisis (CCD) to observe the expression of repulsive guidance molecule a (RGMa), the axonal regeneration as well as the effect on neural functional recovery in the middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) rat model.
Purpose: To certify the expression pattern of RGMa in cerebral infarction and the mechanism of CCD to provide a new target for clinical therapy.
Aim: This study investigated the accuracy of intraoral scanner (IOS) based on different image acquisition technologies in the field of presurgical-orthopedictreatment (PSOT) in neonates with cleft.
Methods: Dental cast models of clinical situations representing unilateral cleft-lip-palate(UCLP), bilateral cleft-lippalate( BCLP) and cleft-palate(CP) with reference PEEK-scanbodies (Cares RC Mono-Scankörper, Straumann, Switzerland) were scanned utilizing four IOS systems: CareStream-CS3600®(CS), Medit-i500®(MD), Cerec-Omnicam®(SO), 3Shape-Trios-3®(TS). One calibrated operator made 5 scans from each model using each IOS (N=60).
