Instrumental-functional examinations (echography, rheography, electrothermometry) were performed in 22 patients with the allotransplanted kidney treated by Sandimmune and in 20 patients treated by standard immunodepression (Azathioprine and corticosteroids). An analysis of the examinations performed has shown reliable differences between the complications which involved the transplant size, cortical layer, skin-temperature gradient, the degree of the venous wave.

The establishment of a tolerant space to realize the co-stimulation of cytokines and contact-dependent molecules remain challenging in allotransplant. Here, an injectable genetically engineered hydrogel (iGE-Gel) is reported, which developed with a multivalent network of FOXP3 engineered extracellular vesicles (Foe-EVs) through the hydrophobic interaction between stearic acid modified hyaluronic acid (HASA) and the membrane phospholipids of extracellular vesicles (EVs). The iGE-Gel exhibited self-healing properties, injectability and biocompatibility.

The KATITA-25 (Kidney AlloTransplant Immunosuppressive Therapy Adherence) Questionnaire is a multidimensional self-administered scale developed in Brazilian Portuguese that measures the predisposition for non-adherence to immunosuppressive medication in candidate patients for kidney transplantation, in the pre-transplant setting. The aim of this study was the cross-cultural validation of the Spanish version of the KATITA-25 scale. The translation/back-translation method was used, followed by cognitive interviews and a pre-test.

Background: We aimed to analyze the roles of M1 and M2 macrophage infiltration in post-renal transplant antibody-mediated rejection (AMR).
Methods: A total of 102 recipients who underwent renal allotransplant from January 2020 to February 2023 were divided into an immune tolerance group (n = 56) and a rejection group (n = 46). The transplant renal biopsy specimens were harvested by ultrasound-guided puncture.
