The extraordinary chemistry of microdroplets has reshaped how we as a community think about reactivity near multiphase boundaries. Even though interesting physico-chemical properties of microdroplets have been reported, "sessile" droplets' inherent mobility, which has been implicated as a driving force for curious chemistry, has not been well established. This paper seeks to answer the question: Can adsorbed microdroplets be mobile at the nanoscale? This is a tantalizing question, as almost no measurement technique has the spatiotemporal resolution to answer it.

The curious skink, Carlia ailanpalai Zug, occurs in the main group of the Admiralty Islands of Papua New Guinea but has also successfully invaded Guam, the Marianas, Yap, and Kosrae. A single coccidian, Eimeria zugi McAllister, Duszynski, Fisher, & Austin, 2013 was described from C. ailanpalai from Papua New Guinea.

Penium margaritaceum, a unicellular zygnematophyte (Streptophyta), was employed to elucidate changes in cell expansion when cells were challenged with the fungal pectinolytic enzyme, pectate lyase, and/or the microtubule disrupting agent, amiprophos-methyl (APM). Microtubule disruption by APM results in significant swelling at expansion zones. These swollen zones provide an easy marker for the location of expansion zones, particularly in cells with altered cell wall pectin.
