Objective: To identify specific clinical signs of Omicron pharyngitis infection.
Methods: A clinical cross-sectional retrospective study was designed to analyze the primary symptoms of pharyngitis in outpatients seeking treatment for sore throat. Pharyngeal congestion, mucosal edema, were measured using a visual analogue assessment score (0-10) while the presence of ulcers, no-tonsil-swelling, no-tonsil-exudate.

The study explores the development and characterization of lymph node stromal cell cultures (LNSCs) from patients with oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC), highlighting the importance of understanding tumor-node cross-talk for effective prognostic and therapeutic interventions. Herein, we describe the development and characterization of primary lymph node stromal cells (LNSCs, N = 14) from nodes of metastatic and non-metastatic OSCC patients. Primary cultures were established by the explant method from positive (N + ; N = 2), and negative nodes (N0; N = 4) of the metastatic patients (N = 3) as well as negative (N0; N = 8) nodes from non-metastatic (N = 4) patients.

Purpose Of Review: Cerebral amyloid angiopathy (CAA) is a common brain disorder among the elderly and individuals with Alzheimer's disease, where accumulation of amyloid-ß can lead to intracerebral hemorrhage and dementia. This review discusses recent developments in understanding the pathophysiology and phenotypes of CAA.
Recent Findings: CAA has a long preclinical phase starting decades before symptoms emerge.

Laparoscopic partial splenectomy (LPS) is gradually becoming the preferred method for treating benign splenic lesions. However, due to the abundant blood supply and its soft, fragile tissue texture, especially when the lesion is located near the splenic hilum or is particularly large, performing partial splenectomy (PS) in clinical practice is extremely challenging. Therefore, we have been continuously exploring and optimizing hemorrhage control methods during PS, and we here propose a method to perform LPS with complete spleen blood flow occlusion.

Background: This study aimed to investigate the prognostic significance of the log odds of negative lymph nodes/T stage ratio (LONT) and develop an efficient prognostic staging system using LONT in patients with colon mucinous adenocarcinoma (MAC).
Methods: This study included 5,236 patients diagnosed with colon MAC obtained from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results database. The Kaplan-Meier method, subgroup analysis, receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve, and Cox proportional hazard regression model were used to determine the clinical outcomes.
