Introduction: Empathy is a fundamental element of high-quality healthcare, though it has been shown to be in decline among medical students and residents. Appeals have therefore been made for the development of evidence-based empathy-enhancing experiential learning and training models. Bringing Art to Life (BATL) is a service-learning program designed within experiential learning pedagogy for psychology and pre-healthcare students.

Ageism - stereotyping, prejudice, and discrimination based on chronological age - is a highly prevalent yet underrecognized form of social discrimination with detrimental effects on healthy aging. Combating ageism is essential for creating an age-friendly society; however, there is no consensus on the optimal approach for doing so. In this manuscript, we posit that community-based participatory research holds promise for addressing and reframing ageism, especially in underserved minoritized communities.

In treating patients with PDs, it is important not only to focus on reducing symptoms, but also on promoting psychological adaptability and well-being. The experiential nature of Creative Arts and Psychomotor Therapies (CAPTs) contributes to working on psychological adaptability and improving well-being, although more evidence is needed.

Skin-to-skin contact between the mother and baby during the first hour after birth has significant benefits for mother, newborn and breastfeeding. However, optimal implementation is highly variable. The 2023 International Guidelines on skin-to-skin contact in the first hour after birth place high confidence in the evidence that immediate, continuous, uninterrupted skin-to-skin contact should be routine for all mothers and all babies over 1000 g, regardless of mode of delivery.

Young adults leaving child protection services face difficulties in accessing housing and rights, but above all social isolation, due to a lack of family resources and friendships as a result of an institutional path strewn with breakdowns. For those with mental health problems, long-term investment in psychiatric care is more than complex. Repairs! 44 strives to change mentalities by drawing on the experiential expertise of its volunteers, so that public opinion becomes aware of the multitude of obstacles these young people face throughout their lives, and aims to make their rights more accessible.
