Purpose: Dynamic eye-tracking paradigms are an engaging and increasingly used method to study social attention in autism. While prior research has focused primarily on younger populations, there is a need for developmentally appropriate tasks for older children.
Methods: This study introduces a novel eye-tracking task designed to assess school-aged children's attention to speakers involved in conversation.

The position and configuration of the C═C bond have a significant impact on the spatial conformation of unsaturated lipids, which subsequently affects their biological functions. Double bond isomerization of lipids is an important mechanism of bacterial stress response, but its in-depth mechanistic study still lacks effective analytical tools. Here, we developed a visible-light-activated dual-pathway reaction system that enables simultaneous [2 + 2] cycloaddition and catalytic - isomerization of the C═C bond of unsaturated lipids via directly excited anthraquinone radicals.

The complex interplay between low- and high-level mechanisms governing our visual system can only be fully understood within ecologically valid naturalistic contexts. For this reason, in recent years, substantial efforts have been devoted to equipping the scientific community with datasets of realistic images normed on semantic or spatial features. Here, we introduce VISIONS, an extensive database of 1136 naturalistic scenes normed on a wide range of perceptual and conceptual norms by 185 English speakers across three levels of granularity: isolated object, whole scene, and object-in-scene.

The negative effects of particulate matter up to 2.5 μm in diameter (PM) and their mediating mechanisms have been studied in various tissues. However, little is known about the mechanism and long-term tracking underlying the sex-dependent effects of PM on skeletal muscle system modulation.

Background: Recent Alzheimer's disease (AD) genome-wide association studies () have identified >75 risk loci, with >98% of genome-wide significant variants residing in non-coding genomic regions, making it more difficult to infer their functional contexts. In this study, we aim to jointly 1) fine-map causal loci/variants, and 2) identify affected cell types and functional elements by interrogating large-scale collections of thousands of heterogenous, cell type-specific functional genomic (FG) datasets.
Method: We analyzed the full genome-wide summary statistics (n = 21,101,114 variants) from the recent AD GWAS (Bellenguez et al, 2022) (Ncases = 111,326, Ncontrols = 677,663).
