The coupled spin-1 chains material NiCl_{2}-4SC(NH_{2})_{2} (DTN) doped with Br impurities is expected to be a perfect candidate for observing many-body localization at high magnetic field: the so-called "Bose glass," a zero-temperature bosonic fluid, compressible, gapless, incoherent, and short-range correlated. Using nuclear magnetic resonance, we critically address the stability of the Bose glass in doped DTN, and find that it hosts a novel disorder-induced ordered state of matter, where many-body physics leads to an unexpected resurgence of quantum coherence emerging from localized impurity states. An experimental phase diagram of this new "order-from-disorder" phase, established from nuclear magnetic resonance T_{1}^{-1} relaxation rate data in the 13±1% Br-doped DTN, is found to be in excellent agreement with the theoretical prediction from large-scale quantum Monte Carlo simulations.

This study addresses the challenges of magnetic circuit coupling and control complexity in active radial magnetic bearings (ARMBs) by systematically investigating the electromagnetic performance of four magnetic pole configurations (NNSS, NSNS, NNNN, and SSSS). Initially, equivalent magnetic circuit modeling and finite element analysis (FEA) were employed to analyze the magnetic circuit coupling phenomena and their effects on the magnetic flux density distribution for each configuration. Subsequently, the air gap flux density and electromagnetic force were quantified under rotor eccentricity caused by unbalanced disturbances, and the dynamic performances of the ARMBs were evaluated for eccentricity along the x-axis and at 45°.

Neurodegenerative diseases (NDs), such as Alzheimer's disease (AD) and Parkinson's disease (PD), are debilitating conditions that affect millions worldwide, and the number of cases is expected to rise significantly in the coming years. Because early detection is crucial for effective intervention strategies, this study investigates whether the structural analysis of selected brain regions, including volumes and their spatial relationships obtained from regular T1-weighted MRI scans ( = 168, PPMI database), can model stages of PD using standard machine learning (ML) techniques. Thus, diverse ML models, including Logistic Regression, Random Forest, Support Vector Classifier, and Rough Sets, were trained and evaluated.

The sensorless vector control method of synchronous reluctance motors (SynRMs), based on extended back electromotive force (EMF) or flux observation, has been widely applied in the medium- or high-speed range. However, in the low-speed and low-current range, the extended back-EMF and flux are nearly zero. The use of the current frequency () control method can enable the motor to pass through the low-speed region, thereby ensuring that the back-EMF and flux reach a large value.

Permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs) are widely used in a variety of fields such as aviation, aerospace, marine, and industry due to their high angular position accuracy, energy conversion efficiency, and fast response. However, driving errors caused by the non-ideal characteristics of the driver negatively affect motor control accuracy. Compensating for the errors arising from the non-ideal characteristics of the driver demonstrates substantial practical value in enhancing control accuracy, improving dynamic performance, minimizing vibration and noise, optimizing energy efficiency, and bolstering system robustness.
