Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder characterized by cognitive decline, extracellular amyloid-β (Aβ) plaque accumulation, and intracellular neurofibrillary tangles. Recent efforts to find effective therapies have increased interest in natural compounds with multifaceted effects on AD pathology. This study explores natural compounds for their potential to mitigate AD pathology using molecular docking, ADME screening, and assays, with ruscogenin─a steroidal sapogenin from emerging as a promising candidate.

In preclinical studies and early-phase clinical studies enrichment of donor regulatory T cells (Tregs) appears to prevent GVHD and promote healthy immunity.We enrolled 44 patients on an open-label, single-center, phase 2 efficacy study investigating if a precision selected and highly purified Treg cell therapy manufactured from donor mobilized peripheral blood improves one-year GVHD-free relapse free survival (GRFS) after myeloablative conditioning (trial NCT01660607).

Background: The intrauterine device (IUD) is a highly effective form of long-acting reversible contraception, widely recognized for its convenience and efficacy. Collapsing glomerulopathy (CG) has a severe course typically associated with viral infections, especially HIV and parvovirus B19, systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), among other etiologies. A 35-year-old woman with recent use of a JAK inhibitor due to rheumatoid arthritis presented with a 2-week history of fever, cervical adenopathy, and facial erythema. After admission, anemia, hypoalbuminemia, proteinuria, and severe acute kidney injury were noted.

To evaluate the effectiveness and feasibility of the copper bianstone scraping combined with Chinese modified termination hypertension dietary therapy program by comparing and analyzing the improvement of blood pressure, blood lipids and blood glucose in hypertensive patients who received copper bianstone scraping combined with Chinese modified termination hypertension dietary therapy intervention. We selected 160 cases of hypertensive patients from July 2022 to March 2024 for the study. They were divided into 80 cases in the comparison group and 80 cases in the observation group according to whether or not they underwent copper bianstone scraping combined with Chinese modified dietary therapy for termination of hypertension.
