Background: The LatAm-FINGERS trial marks a pioneering initiative as the first non-pharmacological clinical trial encompassing participants from 12 Latin American countries, including Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico, and Uruguay. This initiative represents a significant advancement in promoting inclusivity and diversity in clinical trial recruitment, particularly in underserved populations.
Method: The LatAm-FINGERS trial is a multicenter randomized clinical trial evaluating a lifestyle intervention tailored for the Latin American population.

Background: The progressive nature of dementia and the complex needs means that people living with dementia require tailored approaches to address their changing care needs over time. These include physical multimorbidity, psychological, behavioural, and cognitive symptoms and possible risks arising from these and helping family caregivers. Background: Proper name anomia is a common experience that can become amplified in patients with a diagnosis of dementia (PWD). The Gotcha! app aims to provide practice-based therapy for PWD to relearn the names of key people in their lives. It has been developed according to the principles of errorless learning, which have previously been shown to improve the remembering the familiar people's names and benefit the relationship between the PWD and their loved ones.

Background: Approaches to caregiving interventions are often "one-size-fits-all", yet family caregivers for individuals with dementia have unique caregiving styles with which they enact daily care. Mixed-methods work by this team identified 5 distinct caregiving style profiles that vary in: orientation toward oneself or the care partner, adaptability, understanding of dementia, emotional expression, and behavioral management. This study seeks to develop a person-centered assessment of caregiving style such that interventions and services can be targeted to caregivers' unique styles of care.
