Nurse residents were asked to write a targeted story at the end of the 12-month program. Qualitative content analysis by two reviewers yielded five themes: team and teamwork, gratitude, asking questions, the art of nursing, and change. Findings are supported from previous research and add new information to the body of knowledge about the experience of nurse residents. The nursing professional development practitioner can apply this knowledge in supporting and strengthening residency programs.

Design: A facility-based cross-sectional study was conducted among 474 patients admitted to the inpatient ward.
Setting: The study was conducted at DTCSH in Debre Tabor city.
Admission to a nursing home does not automatically blunt the desire or reduce the need for intimacy and sexuality in older residents. This ageist and ableist stereotype that older people are asexual or post-sexual negatively affects nurses and other healthcare professionals, as they are regularly faced with residents' sexual expressions. How are nurses to view and respond appropriately if a clear understanding of current ethical concepts and argumentations about intimacy and sexuality in older adults is lacking? This study aimed to document and better understand current ethical concepts and arguments about intimacy and sexuality in institutionalised older adults.

Introduction: During clinical training, medical students frequently encounter angry patients and loved ones but feel inadequately prepared to de-escalate these encounters. This unpreparedness might contribute to feelings of shame and anger among medical students and burnout among practicing physicians. Challenging patient scenarios abound in the standardized patient (SP) literature, but no published didactic tool exists focusing exclusively on identification and nonpharmaceutical management of patient anger with a target audience of senior medical students.
