Aims: Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) is a rare autoimmune-mediated disease that can occur in a post-vaccination context. During the vaccination surveillance program of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) vaccines, reports of GBS as a possible adverse effect (AE) of SARS-CoV-2 vaccines have been reported. Our aim was to describe post-vaccine reports of GBS whatever the vaccine used.

It is very rare for teenagers to suffer from cerebral venous thrombosis due to oral contraceptives in a short period. Here, we report a 14-year-old girl who developed superior sagittal sinus thrombosis 2 days after oral ethinylestradiol and cyproterone acetate tablets treatment for abnormal uterine bleeding. There were no recorded instances of coagulopathies or strokes in her family or personal medical history.

Cell division cycle 7 (CDC7) plays an indispensable regulatory role in various cellular processes, encompassing the initiation of DNA replication and the maintenance of replication checkpoints. However, dysregulation of CDC7 protein levels is closely associated with the development and progression of several human diseases, particularly cancers and neurodegenerative diseases. Therefore, targeting the CDC7 kinase is deemed a potential avenue for disease management.
