Tianjin No.4 Hospital is a general hospital featured in burns, and the Department of Burns and Plastic Surgery has six secondary clinical departments with 110 hospital beds. After hard working by several generations, the department has successively developed into a key discipline in Tianjin and Tianjin Burn Emergency Center. Tianjin Burn Research Institute was established in 1992, and then the department became master's granting unit of Tianjin Medical University. In scientific research aspect, many researches have been completed and obtained important results, such as the mechanism and effect of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine in prevention and treatment of intestinal failure, early diagnosis and local treatment with fiberoptic bronchoscope, energy metabolism regularity of burn patients, and the development of irradiated biological dressings. In clinic aspect, tens of thousands of complex wounds and chronic refractory wounds were repaired by various kinds of flaps and advanced methods, and the cure rate of patients with large burn area reached 94.1%. In 2016, Tianjin No.4 Hospital became the Affiliated Hospital of Nankai University. Hereafter, a number of research intentions have collaborated between the department and the State Key Laboratory of Academy of Life Sciences of Nankai University. In the future, our department will focus on improving the treatment level of patients with large burn area, carrying out researches on comprehensive anti-shock in the early stage, inhalation injury treatment, infection treatment, comprehensive treatment of multiple organ failure, wound repair, scar treatment, rehabilitation, and the clinical application.

Cobalt-Cluster-Based Metal-Organic-Framework-Catalyzed Carboxylative Cyclization of Propargylic Amines with CO from Flue Gas.

Inorg Chem

January 2025

Frontiers Science Center for New Organic Matter, Key Laboratory of Advanced Energy Materials Chemistry (MOE), College of Chemistry, Nankai University, Tianjin 300071, China.

The fixation of carbon dioxide (CO) directly from flue gas into valuable chemicals like 2-oxazolidinones is of great significance for economic and environmental benefits, which is typically catalyzed by noble-metal catalysts and under harsh conditions. Herein, a novel 2-fold interpenetrated framework {[Co(μ-O)(TCA)(HDPTA)]·2HO·2DMF} [Co(II)-based metal-organic framework ()] containing [Co] clusters and highly dense amino groups (-NH) dispersed in the channel was prepared, exhibiting high solvent/pH stability and CO adsorption capacity (24.9 cm·g).

Background: HER2 expression has been confirmed to be associated with bladder cancer aggressiveness. Anti-HER2 RC48-ADC is approved in China for the treatment of patients with advanced urothelial carcinoma with failed chemotherapy who are HER2 positive (IHC 2 + or 3 +). The discovery of HER2 positivity in urothelial carcinoma and the development of anti-HER2 drugs have brought new hope for bladder preservation treatment in MIBC.

Multi-Resonance 1,4-BN-Heteroarene for Filterless Narrowband Photodetector.

Angew Chem Int Ed Engl

January 2025

Nankai University, College of Chemistry, Weijin Road 94, 300071, Tianjin, CHINA.

As an emerging class of optoelectronic materials, multi-resonance (MR) 1,4-BN-heteroarenes have been extensively employed as narrowband electroluminescence materials, whereas their absorption feature has largely been neglected. Here we construct the first MR-molecule-based phototransistor for filterless narrowband photodetectors (NBPDs) by anchoring narrowband absorption MR molecules on the high-mobility semiconductor indium-zinc-oxide (IZO) film. The resulting device exhibits high-performance photodetection with a small full-width at half-maximum (FWHM) of 33 nm, which represents a new record for NBPDs based on intrinsic narrowband absorbing materials.
