The objective of our research was histological evaluation of therapeutic effects in case of burn injury in rats. Experiment was conducted on 84 test rats with burn injury of III-A stage. Therapeutical effect of studied medicines was evaluated using histological methods. Results achived gave evidence that on 18-th day of treatment with ceremids cream and dexpanthenol with ceramids cream the level granulation tissue maturing increased by 1,4 and 1,7 times and intensity of burn injury epithelization rose by 1,5 and 1,9 times in comparison with non-treated animals. Therapeutic effect of dexpanthenol with ceramids cream significantly overcome action of «Bepanten» cream. Thus, experiment done proved efficiency of ceramids use in cream composition with dexpanthenol as one of the therapeutic methods aimed at increase of skin burn injury healing activation.

Physical activity is known to improve both physical and mental health, yet access to culturally responsive physical activity programs for Pasifika communities is limited. This study leveraged expertise from an Advisory Committee to adopt community-based participatory research (CBPR) through Talanoa to co-design a physical activity program specifically tailored for Pasifika people in Western Sydney.

Diabetic foot ulcer (DFU) is a common and severe complication of diabetes mellitus, the etiology of which remains insufficiently understood, particularly regarding the involvement of extracellular vesicles (EVs). In this study, nanoflow cytometry to detect EVs in DFU skin tissues is used and found a significant increase in the Translocase of Outer Mitochondrial Membrane 20 (TOM20) mitochondrial-derived vesicles (MDVs). The role of MDVs in DFU is yet to be reported.

This study aimed to investigate the relationship between adipose derived stem cell exosomes (ADSCs-Exos) in anti-photoaging of skin and glutathione (GSH)/ ROS expression in human fibroblasts.
Methods: A skin photoaging model was established by irradiating human fibroblasts with ultraviolet B (UVB) light in vitro.

An umbilical granuloma (UG) is one of the most common umbilical anomalies seen in infants, mostly due to delayed cord separation. It is usually treated with silver nitrate; however, topical application of silver nitrate can cause chemical burns, creating concern among parents. We present a similar case in a two-month-old baby boy with a giant UG, which was treated with topical silver nitrate application, producing significant chemical burns around the umbilicus and on the anterior abdominal wall.
