Background: Central nervous system (CNS)-active polypharmacy (defined as concurrent exposure to three or more antidepressant, antipsychotic, antiseizure, benzodiazepine, opioid, or nonbenzodiazepine benzodiazepine receptor agonists) is associated with significant potential harms in persons living with dementia (PLWD).We conducted a pilot trial to assess a patient nudge intervention's implementation feasibility and preliminary effectiveness to prompt deprescribing conversations between PLWD experiencing CNS-active polypharmacy and their primary care clinicians ("clinicians").
Methods: We used the electronic health record to identify PLWD prescribed CNS-active polypharmacy in primary care clinics from two health systems.
Palliative care is an important part of health services. The individualized care perceptions are is critical for supporting individuality during care and providing quality nursing care. Individualized care not only has, as well as having foundation of the philosophy of nursing but also, is also related to the nurses' empathic tendencies and professional quality of life of nurses.

This article examines the complex relationship between disease perception, negative emotions, and their impact on postoperative recovery in patients with perianal diseases. These conditions not only cause physical discomfort, but also carry a significant emotional burden, often exacerbated by social stigma. Psychological factors, including stress, anxiety, and depression, activate neuroendocrine pathways, such as the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis, disrupting the gut microbiota and leading to dysbiosis.
