A 68 year old woman is described with persisting muscular rigidity of the left lower leg together with transient myoclonic jerking in the left quadriceps muscle. Six weeks after onset a small cell carcinoma of the lung became manifest. With radiotherapy and chemotherapy complete remission was achieved. Segmental muscular spasm improved at the same time. Necropsy revealed loss and degeneration of alpha-motor neuron cells at one side of the anterior horn of the lumbar enlargement. This case may represent another manifestation of paraneoplastic subacute motor neuronopathy.

In organic solar cells, the aggregation and crystallization of polymers are significant for bulk heterojunction. Blending with acceptor materials, polymer donor materials can adjust their aggregation by the movement of the chain segments. In this paper, the unfused structures based on thiophene and carbazole are respectively designed and introduced into the donor-acceptor copolymer donor materials to investigate the influence of flexible and rigid structures on polymer-aggregation leading photoelectric performance.

Background: Glomus tumors (GTs) are rare, comprising only 2% of all soft tissue tumors. Pulmonary GTs are exceptionally rare, with fewer than 80 cases reported to date. Little is known about the therapeutic outcomes of rigid bronchoscopy for endobronchial GT.

Purpose: To compare the surgical outcomes of visco-circumferential-suture-trabeculotomy (VCST) and rigid probe segmental viscotrabeculotomy (VT) in primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG).
Study Design: A prospective randomized controlled study.
Patients And Methods: Patients presenting with POAG and operated upon in Mansoura Ophthalmic Center in Mansoura, Egypt between February 2017 and September 2021 were enrolled.
Aim: We investigated the short- term results of dynamic/semi-rigid stabilization in patients with cervi-cal spinal stenosis and compare them with patients for which decompression and posterior cer-vical fusion was performed.
Material And Methods: 28 patients were included in this study. Group 1 was the semi-rigid group (four male, ten fe-male), group 2 was the fusion group (nine male, five female).

Recurrent groin pain following periacetabular osteotomy (PAO) is a challenging problem. The purpose of our study was to evaluate the position and dynamics of the psoas tendon as a potential cause for recurrent groin pain following PAO. A total of 386 PAO procedures, performed between January 2013 and January 2020, were identified from a single surgeon series.
