Objective: The primary focus of this investigation was to evaluate the biomechanical effects of high trimline design aligners on the distalization of mandibular molars, employing three-dimensional finite element analysis (3D-FEA). The study concentrated on aspects such as tooth movement, stress distribution, and anchorage control.
Methods: Utilizing Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) data, a detailed 3D geometrical model was constructed for finite element analysis.

Case: A 28-year-old man presented for a painful lower extremity mass. Imaging revealed a nonspecific, poorly defined lucent lesion in the left distal tibial cortex with scalloping. The diagnosis of intracortical schwannoma was made after open biopsy revealed positive S-100 immunohistochemical staining and characteristic spindled cells.

We report an uncommon case of primitive neuroectodermal tumor/ Ewing's sarcoma of the lumbar and sacral nerve plexus in a 17years old boy who presented with an intense pain in the lower back radiating to legs. Magnetic resonance imaging showed a soft tissue mass with thickening of lumbar and sacral spinal nerve roots (L5-S3 level), along with widening of the corresponding foramina. There was also posterior scalloping of L5/S1 vertebrae and invasion of the sacral bone.
