Cutaneous lymphomas are divided into categories based on histologic evaluation of the skin and location of neoplastic lymphocytes. Epitheliotropic cutaneous lymphoma, also known as cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, is diagnosed when neoplastic lymphocytes show tropism for the epidermis and these cells infiltrate the epidermis and adnexae. In diagnosis of nonepitheliotropic cutaneous lymphoma, neoplastic lymphocytes are found mostly in the dermis and/or subcutis. Neoplastic cells are of either B-cell or T-cell origin. This article focuses on epitheliotropic cutaneous lymphomas and cutaneous lymphocytosis, which is considered a form of indolent lymphoma, in dogs and cats.

Background: Exosomes derived from cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) can affect tumor microenvironment (TME) of thyroid cancer (TC). The cAMP response element binding protein 1 (CREB1) acts as a transcription factor to participate in cancer development. Currently, we aimed to explore the molecular mechanism of exosome-associated CREB1 and C-C motif chemokine ligand 20 (CCL20) in TC.

Chordomas are a low-to-intermediate-grade slow-growing subtype of sarcoma, but show propensity to grow and invade locally with recurrence and metastasis in 10-40% of cases. We describe the first case of spontaneous regression of a solid tumor (histologically and immunohistochemically proven chordoma) after COVID-19. A female patient with clival chordoma underwent occipitocervical fixation prior to tumor resection.

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), a leading liver tumor globally, is influenced by diverse risk factors. Cellular senescence, marked by permanent cell cycle arrest, plays a crucial role in cancer biology, but its markers and roles in the HCC immune microenvironment remain unclear. Three machine learning methods, namely k nearest neighbor (KNN), support vector machine (SVM), and random forest (RF), are utilized to identify eight key HCC cell senescence markers (HCC-CSMs).

Tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes are considered clinically beneficial in breast cancer, but the significance of natural killer (NK) cells is less well characterized. As increasing evidence has demonstrated that the spatial organization of immune cells in tumor microenvironments is a significant parameter for impacting disease progression as well as therapeutic responses, an improved understanding of tumor-infiltrating NK cells and their location within tumor contextures is needed to improve the design of effective NK cell-based therapies. In this study, we developed a multiplex immunohistochemistry (mIHC) antibody panel designed to quantitatively interrogate leukocyte lineages, focusing on NK cells and their phenotypes, in two independent breast cancer patient cohorts (n = 26 and n = 30).

Purpose: Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is considered a "cold" tumor because the tumor immune microenvironment (TIME) exhibits poor intratumoral T-cell infiltration. This study aimed to identify the marker genes associated with induction of cold TIME in PDAC cells.
Methods: We orthotopically transplanted 10 primary cultures of PDAC derived from KrasG12D/+; Trp53R172H/+; Pdx-1-Cre (KPC) mice into immunocompetent mice and evaluated TIME by immunohistochemistry (IHC) staining of CD8.
