We provide the dataset associated with the research article "Ar/Ar ages of alkali feldspar xenocrysts constrain the timing of intraplate basaltic volcanism" Matchan et al. [1]. This dataset contains major element data for 15 large anorthoclase xenocrysts ('megacrysts') collected from six Pleistocene eruption centres (Mount Leura, Mount Shadwell, Mount Noorat, Mount Franklin, Lake Keilambete and The Anakies (East Cone)) in the basaltic Newer Volcanic Province of south-eastern Australia. It also contains multi-collector (Argus VI) Ar/Ar step-heating for 13 of these anorthoclase megacrysts. Ar/Ar vacuo step-crushing experiment data is also provided for three of these megacrysts.

The jute hairy caterpillar, Spilosoma obliqua (Lepidoptera: Erebidae) is considered as one of the major threats to jute cultivation. The best eco-friendly methods to combat these jute pests involve administration of nano-biopesticides, as a successful alternative to the toxic chemicals. In this study, a nano-biopesticide formulation containing green synthesized silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) using Ocimum sanctum leaf extract has been proposed.

The occurrence of diseases characterized by irregular spinal alignment, such as kyphosis, lordosis, scoliosis, and dropped head syndrome (DHS) is increasing, particularly among older adults. DHS is characterized by an excessive forward tilt of the head and neck, causing the head to droop. Although it is believed that muscle activity plays a role in both the onset and treatment of DHS, the underlying mechanisms remain unclear.

The increasing level of cadmium (Cd) contamination in soil due to anthropogenic actions is a significant problem. This problem not only harms the natural environment, but it also causes major harm to human health via the food chain. The use of chelating agent is a useful strategy to avoid heavy metal uptake and accumulation in plants.

Dealing with radioactive waste, particularly from various industrial processes, poses significant challenges. This paper explores the use of lithium aluminate borate (Li-Al-B) glass matrix as an alternative method for immobilizing radioactive waste, focusing specifically on waste generated in tin smelting industries, known as tin slag. The study primarily concentrates on transforming tin slag, a byproduct abundant in Natural Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM), into a stable and safe form for disposal.

Service de Médecine Oncologique, Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), Hôpital Universitaire de Bruxelles (HUB), Institut Jules Bordet, Bruxelles, Belgique.

Purpose Of Review: Febrile neutropenia as a complication of cytotoxic chemotherapies, remains a major event in the medical journey of hematology and oncology patients. In this review, we are trying to review the new elements and highlights that are shaping febrile neutropenia in nowadays.

Recent Findings: Introduction of risk-stratification, expanded use of granulocyte-colony stimulating factor and oral treatment for selected patients and rapid administration of antibiotics revolutionized the treatment of febrile neutropenia.
