Background: The DIA Clinical Data Management Community created a committee to develop a model standard operating procedure (SOP) for writing a data management plan.
Methods: The goal of the committee was to develop a plan that could be used by industry and academic institutions. The model was based on contributed examples from committee members and their experiences with current practices and technologies. It is understood that as new clinical trial technology is implemented, the SOP will require modification.
Results: The model SOP and associated templates are presented as a starting point, and each company or institution will need to modify them to meet its individual needs.
Conclusion: The model DMP SOP produced addresses most data management issues that are present in any phase clinical trial while providing a flexible framework.

In populations of small effective size (N), such as those in conservation programmes, companion animals or livestock species, inbreeding control is essential. Homozygosity-by-descent (HBD) segments provide relevant information in that context, as they allow accurate estimation of the inbreeding coefficient, provide locus-specific information and their length is informative about the "age" of inbreeding. Our objective was to evaluate tools for predicting HBD in future offspring based on parental genotypes, a problem equivalent to identifying segments identical-by-descent (IBD) among the four parental chromosomes.

Objective: To investigate the relationship between maternal age and nutritional status, and test associations between maternal nutritional status and child mortality with a focus on maternal obesity.
Design: Secondary analysis of data from nationally representative cross-sectional sample of women of reproductive ages (15-49 years) and their children under five years. The outcome variable for maternal nutritional status was Body Mass Index (BMI), classified into underweight (BMI < 18.

Ureteral stenosis is a frequent complication after kidney transplantation, causing significant morbidity and potential graft function impairment. Treatment options include conservative management, endourological procedures, surgical interventions and percutaneous nephrostomy (PCN). While PCN effectively relieves obstruction, it comes with its own complications.

The WOUND-Q is a patient-reported outcome measure for individuals with any type of chronic wound. This study aimed to identify patient and wound factors associated with the four WOUND-Q health-related quality of life (HRQL) scales: Life impact, Psychological, Sleep, and Social. Adults with a chronic wound were recruited internationally through clinical settings between August 2018 and May 2020, and through an online platform (i.

Background: Adolescents (10-19 years old) have poor outcomes across the prevention-to-treatment HIV care continuum, leading to significant mortality and morbidity. We conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis of interventions that documented HIV outcomes among adolescents in HIV high-burden countries.
Methods: We searched PubMed, EMBASE, Scopus, and the Cochrane Library for studies published between January 2015 and September 2024, assessing at least one HIV outcome along the prevention-to-care cascade, including PrEP uptake, HIV testing, awareness of HIV infections, ARV adherence, retention, and virological suppression.
