We report a low-cost, portable biosensor composed of an aptamer-functionalized nanoporous anodic aluminum oxide (NAAO) membrane and a commercial microcontroller chip-based impedance reader suitable for electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS)-based sensing. The biosensor consists of two chambers separated by an aptamer-functionalized NAAO membrane, and the impedance reader is utilized to monitor transmembrane impedance changes. The biosensor is utilized to detect amodiaquine molecules using an amodiaquine-binding aptamer (OR7)-functionalized membrane.

While clinical guidelines support its use, a standardized radiological approach is still lacking. To improve consistency in the acquisition, interpretation, and reporting of WB-MRI examinations, three reporting and data systems (RADSs) have been recently suggested: METastasis Reporting and Data System for Prostate Cancer (MET-RADS-P), Myeloma Response Assessment and Diagnosis System (MY-RADS), and Oncologically Relevant Findings Reporting and Data System (ONCO-RADS).

Objective: CT liver perfusion (CTLP) has been well validated for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) detection, characterization, and treatment response evaluation. However, its role in HCC management algorithms remains unclear. This study aims to assess the diagnostic performance of CTLP alone or as an adjunct to MRI in patients considered for- or undergoing locoregional treatment for HCC.
