We evaluated miR-371-5p expression in gastric cancer (GC) tissues and its influence on the expression of downstream genes, especially SOX2. MiR-371-5p expression (measured using qRT-PCR) was upregulated in GC tissues and correlated positively with TNM staging and lymph node (LN) metastasis.
