A rapid, simple and accurate micellar HPLC-method was adopted and validated for concurrent quantification of naltrexone hydrochloride (NTX) and bupropion hydrochloride (BUP). The proposed method was conducted on RP-18 LiChrosorb® column (150 mm × 4.6 mm i.d. 5-µm particle size) at 25 °C, as a stationary phase and a mixture of 0.175 M sodium dodecyl sulphate (SDS), 0.3% triethanolamine (TEA) and 12% -propanol in 0.02 M phosphoric acid of pH 3.5 as a developing system. It was pumped at a flow rate of 1.2 mL/min, with ultraviolet detection at 210 nm. The linearity ranges were 0.5-15.0 µg/mL and 1.2-18.0 µg/mL, with detection limits of 0.10 and 0.31 µg/mL and quantification limits of 0.30 and 0.93 µg/mL for NTX and BUP, respectively. The studied drugs were successfully quantified by applying the proposed method in their co-formulated tablet. The cited method was also applied for quantification of BUP in spiked human urine without prior extraction.

Molecularly Imprinted Polymers (MIPs) are synthetic materials designed to selectively recognize and bind to specific target molecules. The process of determining Bupropion (BUP) using MIPs involves preparing the MIP, extracting the target molecule, and conducting subsequent analysis. A bio-inspired MIP-based electrochemical sensor was developed to detect BUP, utilizing the specific binding of MIPs to Bupropion molecules, enabling precise and sensitive detection.

Objective: Bictegravir is increasingly prescribed as a co-formulated tablet with tenofovir alafenamide and emtricitabine to pregnant persons with HIV (PWH) despite limited pregnancy and birth outcome data. We sought to provide birth outcome data following exposure to bictegravir during pregnancy.
Design: We conducted a descriptive analysis of infants born to pregnant PWH 18-45 years of age enrolled in at least one Pediatric HIV/AIDS Cohort Study (PHACS)-affiliated study who received bictegravir for ≥7 days during pregnancy and completed follow-up through delivery.

A green and sensitive factorial design-assisted reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC) approach with fluorimetric detection has been developed for simultaneous determination of cinnarizine and domperidone in pure materials, commercial single and combined tablets. Both drugs are co-formulated in one dosage form and are commonly used for the effective treatment of motion sickness in the ratio of 4 : 3 for cinnarizine and domperidone, respectively. To achieve the developed method's best performance and reliability, a 2 full factorial design was applied during the optimization of chromatographic conditions.

Herein, we synthesized biogenic carbon dots (CDs) with blue-shifted maximum excitation (λ/λ of 320/404 nm) from largely wasted tangerine seeds for the first time via a one-step hydrothermal method. The biogenic CDs exhibit a maximum excitation wavelength that overlaps with the absorption spectrum of ketorolac tromethamine (KETO) at 320 nm. The developed CDs serve as a turn-off fluorescent probe via an inner filter effect (IFE) quenching mechanism.
