Background: This study was designed to research the potential function of lncRNA in osteosarcoma (OS).
Materials And Methods: Quantitative real-time PCR, cell counting kit-8, wound healing assay, Transwell assay, flow cytometric analysis, caspase activity analysis, and Western blot were carried out.
Results: was remarkably upregulated in human OS tissues and cells, and knockdown of significantly suppressed MG63 cell proliferation, migration, and invasion and promoted apoptosis. Moreover, our mechanistic research findings verified that influenced growth and apoptosis may be partly through regulation of caspase-3 and Bcl-2. Migration and invasion were influenced via -mediated regulation of MTA1, TIMP-2, and E-cadherin.
Conclusion: Our finding demonstrates that plays vital roles in OS growth and metastasis.

Laminins (LMs) are a family of heterotrimeric glycoproteins that form the structural foundation of basement membranes (BM). By acting as molecular bridges between cells and the extracellular matrix (ECM) through integrins and other surface receptors, they regulate key cellular signals that influence cell behavior and tissue architecture. Despite their physiological importance, our understanding of the role of LMs in cancer pathobiology remains fragmented.

The study of the multifaceted interactions between neuroscience and cancer is an emerging field with significant implications for understanding tumor biology and the innovation in therapeutic approaches. Increasing evidence suggests that neurological functions are connected with tumorigenesis. In particular, the peripheral and central nervous systems, synapse, neurotransmitters, and neurotrophins affect tumor progression and metastasis through various regulatory approaches and the tumor immune microenvironment.

Background: Epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) gene mutations can lead to distant metastasis in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). When the primary NSCLC lesions are removed or cannot be sampled, the EGFR status of the metastatic lesions are the potential alternative method to reflect EGFR mutations in the primary NSCLC lesions. This review aimed to evaluate the potential of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) radiomics based on extrapulmonary metastases in predicting EGFR mutations through a systematic reviews and meta-analysis.

Objective: Long-term management of people living with HIV (PLWHs) often relies on CD4 T cell counts for assessing immune recovery, yet a single metric offers limited information. This study aimed to explore the association between the CD4/CD8 ratio and T lymphocyte activities in PLWHs.
Methods: 125 PLWHs and 31 HIV-uninfected controls (UCs) were enrolled and categorized into four groups based on their CD4/CD8 ratios: extremely low ratio (ELR) group: 0.

Background And Objective: Prostate cancer (PCa) is the second most commonly diagnosed cancer in males, the mechanism of PCa with bone metastasis remains unclear. In this study, we aimed to utilize a retrospective clinical study to evaluate the diagnostic value of bone metastases from PCa and provide reference values for future applications.
Methods: We retrospectively collected a total of 200 samples including 100 PCa patients with bone metastatic and 100 without from June 2019 to August 2021.
