Unlabelled: Phenylalanine (PA) levels below 360 µmol/L do not require treatment; however, cognitive deficits have been observed in patients with elevated PA levels, necessitating a safe upper limit for treatment and therapeutic objectives. The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the correlation between developmental assessments (Denver Developmental Screening Test-II [DDST-II] and Ankara Developmental Screening Inventory [ADSI]) and electroencephalogram (EEG) findings with blood PA levels and genotypic data in non-phenylketonuria mild Hyperphenylalaninemia (HPA) patients, to re-evaluate their treatment status based on potential adverse outcomes. This study encompassed 40 patients aged 1-5 years diagnosed with HPA and not on treatment, identified through initial blood PA levels, and monitored for a minimum of 1 year on an unrestricted diet.

This comprehensive review explores the emergence of titanium dioxide nanoparticles (TiO-NPs) as versatile nanomaterials, particularly exploring their biogenic synthesis methods through different biological entities such as plants, bacteria, fungi, viruses, and algae. These biological entities provide eco-friendly, cost-effective, biocompatible, and rapid methods for TiO-NP synthesis to overcome the disadvantages of traditional approaches. TiO-NPs have distinctive properties, including high surface area, stability, UV protection, and photocatalytic activity, which enable diverse applications.

Background: The aim of this study was to evaluate the prognostic impact of computed tomography (CT)-based body composition parameters in metabolically unhealthy normal-weight patients (MUHNW) with aortic stenosis (AS) undergoing transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR).
Methods: This prospective cohort study involved adults with normal weight scheduled for TAVR. Patients were divided into two groups: metabolically healthy normal-weight (MHNW) and MUHNW.

Osteosarcoma tissues demonstrated elevated expression of proteins (FDX1 and DLAT) integral to cuproptosis in our preliminary study, indicating the potential effectiveness of anti-tumor strategies predicated on this process. Nevertheless, the overexpression of copper export proteins and the challenge of copper ion penetration may contribute to insufficient local copper ion concentration for inducing cuproptosis. Herein, we engineered a biomimetic copper-elesclomol-polyphenol network for the efficient delivery of copper ions and the copper ionophore elesclomol.

Ethnopharmacological Relevance: Lichong decoction (LD) is extensively employed in the treatment of uterine leiomyoma (ULM), demonstrating remarkable clinical effectiveness with an absence of notable adverse reactions. Its composition aligns with the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) etiology of ULM, making it a highly suitable therapy. Nonetheless, the precise mechanisms underlying its therapeutic actions remain to be fully elucidated.
