In February 2017, the American Association of Clinical Endocrin-ologists and the American College of Endocrinology published updated "Guidelines for Management of Dyslipidemia and Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease." The update encompassed recent important clinical trial outcomes and additional research related to the treatment of dyslipidemia.
