Premise Of The Study: Polymorphic microsatellite primers were developed for greater duckweed, (Lemnaceae), to investigate genetic diversity and structure for application in a bioremediation program.
Methods And Results: A total of 401 publicly available . whole-genome shotgun sequences were searched for simple sequence repeat loci of two or more nucleotides. Of these, 60 primer pairs were selected to analyze 68 individuals of from three populations. Nineteen polymorphic microsatellite loci were developed. A total of 108 alleles were detected with an average of 5.7 alleles per locus. The levels of expected and observed heterozygosity were 0.0511-0.8669 and 0-0.8750, respectively. Ten loci also successfully amplified in 16 individuals of .
Conclusions: The results demonstrate the broad utility of these microsatellite loci for studying population genetics in .

Chili pepper (Capsicum spp.) fruits are used as vegetables, spices, and ornamental plants, necessitating various fruit characteristics. However, their genetic improvement is challenging through conventional crossbreeding due to the quantitative traits, which makes it difficult to predict phenotypes in the progeny.

The natural population of have not been genetically enumerated due to a lack of genome sequence information or robust species-specific molecular marker. The present study was conducted to develop and validate genome-wide de novo simple sequence repeat (SSRs) markers in through shallow-pass genome sequencing. The genome sequence data of about 13 Gb was generated using Illumina technology, and high-quality sequence reads were de novo assembled into 1,390,995 contigs with GC content 42.

Background: Persimmon (Diospyros kaki L.) belongs to the Ebenaceae family, which includes six genera and about 400 species. This study evaluated the genetic diversity of 100 persimmon accessions from Hatay province, Türkiye using 42 morphological and pomological traits, along with inter simple sequence repeat (ISSR) markers and multivariate analysis.

Merr] are among the important crops, but the cultivated resources are normally low-yielding, susceptible to diseases and low profit. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the genetic diversity of black soybean germplasms for breeding programs.

To promote the conservation and utilization of the germplasm resources and provide a basis for the breeding of new varieties of Murraya paniculata, this study analyzed the genetic diversity of the germplasm resources and developed the molecular identity(ID) card of M. paniculata. Multiple fluorescence PCR-capillary electrophoresis was performed for 65 germplasm accessions of M.
