Microcystin LR (MC-LR) pollution is a serious threat to aquatic ecosystems and public health in China and is an environmental problem that urgently needs to be solved. However, few studies have investigated the anaerobic degradation pathway and related molecular biological mechanisms of MC-LR. In this study, a bacterium capable of degrading MC-LR with a degradation efficiency of 0.

The traditional liquid electrolytes pose safety hazards primarily attributed to the flammability of organic solvent, whereas solid-state electrolytes can significantly enhance the safety of lithium-ion batteries. Polymer solid electrolytes are being considered as an effective solution due to their excellent flexibility and low cost, but they suffer low ionic conductivity or high interface impedance. Here, the ketone-containing allyl acetoacetate monomers were polymerized within the cellulose membrane via UV photopolymerization to prepare a cellulose-supported poly-allyl acetoacetate polymer electrolyte.

Objectives: This study aims to evaluate the technical and clinical outcomes of the E-nside stent graft for thoraco-abdominal aortic aneurysm (TAAA) and pararenal abdominal aortic aneurysm (PAAA) endovascular treatment at our University Hospital Center.

Methods: We conducted a retrospective analysis of patients electively treated by inner branched EVAR (iBEVAR) between 05/2021 and 03/2023. Demographic, procedural, and clinical data were analyzed.

Opening and Constructing Stable Lithium-ion Channels within Polymer Electrolytes.

Angew Chem Int Ed Engl

School of Materials Science and Chemical Engineering, Harbin University of Science and Technology, Harbin, 150040, China.

Lithium-ion batteries play an integral role in various aspects of daily life, yet there is a pressing need to enhance their safety and cycling stability. In this study, we have successfully developed a highly secure and flexible solid-state polymer electrolyte (SPE) through the in situ polymerization of allyl acetoacetate (AAA) monomers. This SPE constructed an efficient Li transport channel inside and effectively improved the solid-solid interface contact of solid-state batteries to reduce interfacial impedance.

Background: The aim of the study was to evaluate the correlation between frailty, measured by the Five-Factor Modified Frailty Index (mFI-5) and mortality and all major adverse events (MAE) in patients who underwent proximal abdominal aortic aneurysm (p-AAA) open surgery (OS).

Methods: Data of all elective patients submitted to p-AAA OS from 2010 to 2021 were recorded. Primary endpoints were 30-day mortality and mid-term survival and secondary endpoints included postoperative acute kidney injury (AKI), freedom from aortic reintervention and any MAE.
